Glow sticks or bend lights
A glow stick, also called a bend light, is a purely chemical illuminant and – in contrast to a fluorescent tube – does not require electricity to generate light in different colors. All it takes is a chemical reaction to produce the desired effect in the tube. Here is how it works: The popular party gadgets contain a fluorescent compound and two other substances involved in the chemical reaction. One of these chemicals is enclosed in a small tube. If this container is destroyed by kinking, the chemicals mix and the stick begins to glow in color.
In our online store you can choose from bend lights from in different colors. By simply bending the stick, the liquids inside the light tube mix and start to glow. Since they do not emit heat and are waterproof and floatable, they are particularly suitable for use in the home party cellar, as a gift idea or as a party gag in clubs or at weddings.
Classic fluorescent tubes
A fluorescent tube, on the other hand, is coated inside with a fluorescent phosphor. To make light visible, the coated inside of the tube is exposed to UV radiation. This phosphor partially converts the UV radiation into light; the glass of the fluorescent tube absorbs the rest. Depending on the color of the glass and the mixing ratio of the phosphor within the tube, the color of the light can be determined. Available in various lengths, the fluorescent tubes from with their different colors are the ideal eye-catcher, for example, in the entrance area of a discotheque. A beam angle of 360 degrees ensures that the luminous light color of the fluorescent tube can be seen from afar.
LED light sticks
In addition to the "classic" fluorescent tubes and light sticks, you can also purchase LED light sticks from in our online store. Here, powerful LEDs are built into a tube. The LED light tube can shine in different colors. In addition, the speed and brightness of the LED light can be adjusted. Built-in programs assist in selecting the appropriate color change and color blending, so you can choose an extraordinary lighting for any occasion. The LED light bars can be easily placed in the room with a stand and are ready for use very quickly.
