Power distributors by EUROLITE are characterized by the robust construction of their housings, enormous flexibility, and high load capacity. The compact power distributors in our assortment also offer a wide selection of different connectors and configurations.

You can easily mount our power distributors in a rack or module in just a few simple steps. This allows the power distributors to be put into operation quickly thanks to the compact design of their housing, simple installation in a rack, and user-friendly functions. Whether the distributors are mounted in a rack on or near a stage at a festival or in another event location, the power distributors with CEE sockets or safety sockets from our assortment offer you the flexibility and safety you need for the implementation of your next event.

An excursion into the history of power distribution

The development of power distribution has a long history, starting with the introduction of the first patented socket in the early 20th century. Harvey Hubbell's "Parallel Blade" socket used two flat, parallel metal plates to hold the plug. Since then, of course, there have been several innovations in the development of power distribution. The first socket outlet with earthing contact was invented by Albert Büttner, an engineer from Berlin, and patented in 1926. An additional contact was built into this plug, which enabled earthing and thus reduced the risk of accidents involving electricity. Almost forty years later, the CEE socket was introduced and standardized for the whole of Europe.

Nowadays, it is difficult to imagine an event without an appropriately protected power supply. To ensure that the electrical equipment used at an event is supplied with power reliably and efficiently, the power distributors in our assortment are equipped with CEE plugs or safety sockets. These have been specially developed to ensure an efficient and safe power supply in your event location for various applications.
